We weren't going to comment on the leadership race for Labour in Scotland but this story from the Press & Journal brings a smile to the face.
Independence supporter Kyle Renton, from Inveraray, was asked to "like" (Facebook) a page for Jim Murphy for Labour leader. Instead, Kyle decided to create his own Facebook page proposing himself as Labour leader in Scotland. At the time of writing Kyle has achieved 5,093 likes compared to a paltry 1,772 for the official Jim Murphy page.
We can heartily endorse Kyle when he said:
"I think it shows that people would rather vote for anyone than Jim Murphy if they had the choice."
Let's hope that sentiment continues!
