Route for Independence March and Rally 2013

March begins in the Heart of Edinburgh

This year the assembly point for the March will be on the High Street (Royal Mile), Edinburgh. The marchers will then proceed down the High Street, across the North Bridge and along Waterloo Place/Regent Road to arrive at the Rally on Calton Hill.

This section of the High Street has added significance as it is the location of Parliament House which was the original Scots Parliament. The stone mosaic Heart of Midlothian is also at this location on the Royal Mile.

Assembly on the High Street starts at 11:00 with the March scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon. The Rally will then start at 13:00.
