Yes Scotland achieve target
Yes Scotland have achieved their target for funding the Yes Campaign local groups. The 300 Crowd Crowdfunding appeal surpassed the target, by the deadline yesterday, and going on to achieve 109%.
It is interesting to compare the grassroots nature of Yes Campaign funding with the "establishment" backers of No Scotland. A recent article in The Herald listed a former MI6 spy, the landed gentry, a Barings bank stockbroker and the chairman of an English premier league footbal team as major contributors to the "anti-independence campaign".
The profile of these contributors seems to support the contention that it is a Tory funded campaign fronted by Labour.
